GIVING OF THANKS OR THANKSGIVING Prayers, supplications, intercessions, giving of thanks or thanksgiving are the main types of Christian prayers. These four major divisions of prayer cover anything we want to talk with Jesus about. One cannot make a Christian prayer unless he uses one or a combination of the above types. In this writing we will focus mainly on giving of thanks or thanksgiving.

A prayer of giving of thanks to the Lord Jesus Christ is one of audible sounds. This is either with or together with instruments of music and sometimes a dance. This is like what took place at the dedication of the wall of Jerusalem. The children of Israel dedicated the wall of Jerusalem " both " with giving of thanks and with " singing " with musical instruments, Nehemiah 12:27.

Finally, prayers, supplications, intercessions, giving of thanks or thanksgiving are types of Christian prayers we cannot as Christians live without. By them we establish our relationship with God, by them we act as our brothers keeper and by them we are obedient to Gods commands. Let us join with the angels in heaven (now) and worship Jesus Christ by " saying, Amen: blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honor, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen " , Rev., 7:12.
